Fab 4 Reunion

I am still playing catch up with this blog but about a month ago, my college roommates came to Austin for a visit.  (And for those of you who don't know, we were dubbed the Fab 4 while in college because we were always together.  It has stuck since then because it is just easier than referring to each of us by name.)  Everyone brought their newest family addition so including my family there were two toddlers (Ainsley and Bailey) and three infants ranging in age from 8 to 2 months.  The newbies are below.  Rachael's Wills (7 months) in the blue, Mackenzie's Henry (2 months) laying in the middle, and Kelli's Grason (8 months) on the right.  They were all impressively laid back and happy the whole weekend.  I was amazed!!

We spent the weekend lounging around in our comfies and catching up, only leaving the house a few times when we could coordinate the babies schedules.  And even though we were at my house, George was a champ at keeping our kids occupied and out of the way so that I didn't have to worry about too much mommy or house stuff.  It was a dream!  But somehow, even though we each have very nice, high quality cameras, the only pictures we ended up with were on our phones.  So you'll have to excuse the quality of these pictures because the weekend was too much fun and too overdue for me not to document it.  :)

Another bonus to getting together was getting to celebrate Mackenzie's 30th birthday in person!  She requested going out to burgers that night, so candles in the burgers it was!!

Ainsley was in **heaven** with all the babies around and has asked me several times when my best friends are going to come and stay with us again.  (Well, Fab 4??  Don't leave a 3 year old hanging??)  She was such a sweet helper and let Mackenzie and baby Henry sleep in her room. She followed poor Mackenzie around almost now stop to ask her questions about her
'little tiny baby.'  It was really sweet.  Here she is with Wills and then Henry.

Love you friends!  Ainsley and I need some more baby snuggles - come back soon!
