Speech Therapy Graduate

 As recommended by our pediatrician, Bailey started speech therapy back in September for a minor speech delay.  We have been seeing the wonderful Ms. Katherine at Little Tesoros here in Austin once a week since then and it has been such a treat to have one-on-one time completely focused on Bailey.  He has loved it because it is like an awesome giant play space with lots of fun things to climb and play on as well as sole access to special new toys!  I have been so impressed with the therapy itself as well and by going weekly and incorporating what we were learning into our routine at home... Bailey was able to graduate from the program the week before Christmas!!  He is now where it should be speech-wise and has a vocabulary of 50+ words including verbs, nouns and adjectives and he is beginning to put two words together.  He still isn't as much of a chatter as we remember Ainsley being, but he has the tools that he needs when he wants something and is talking much much more.  We are so proud of our little munchkin, although I have to admit, I'm going to miss this time together.
