George went to work a little late on Bailey's actual birthday and we let him open his presents first thing in the morning. We don't usually do it this way, but it just seemed more fun on this particular day. Bailey got down to business quickly, rarely looking up for a smile, but showing approval for each gift with 'yay, yay'.
Then that night after dinner we did cake with Thomas the choo, choo candles. Probably if Bailey had chosen his birthday theme this year it would have been trains. The boy is obsessed. Not surprisingly the boy lite up with excitement when we were all singing. It is so sweet to see him feel so special. I love it. And of course Ainsley plays this up huge by being so excited for him. He adores her attention too.
