The kid's last day of school was at the end of May. When I was taking these pictures it occurred to me that next year I will be taking their end of year pictures in front of the new house instead. Kind of a bittersweet and exciting thought.
We called this year of school Ainsley's five-year old kindergarten year or Casner kinder because she will be doing kindergarten again next year in a full-day program. Next year she will be doing six-year old kindergarten or Trinity kinder. With her summer birthday, this just made a lot of sense to her. Anyway, this year has been sort of a challenging year for Ainsley academically. We are learning that some things are more difficult for her and have been working on finding the best ways to support her through this. During it all, I have been thankful for Ainsley's thoughtful, loving, social personality and her (mostly) hard work ethic. (Notice how cute Caroline is peeking through the door in the picture below)

This picture concludes Bailey's three day three-year old year with Mrs. Fulmer. This year has been so great for Bailey. He has thrived at school this year both academically, verbally, and socially. His teacher said he was an obedient, helpful, loving friend in class and was very smart. He made some sweet friends but also told me that he liked to play by himself at times. He will be in the fours/pre-kindergarten five mornings a week next year. Oh and his last day of school happened to be pj day for his class, which is why he is in his jammies.
His chosen pose.
And just so that Caroline wouldn't feel left out, we got her in a few too. I love these three little monkeys so much!
