After the reunion a few of George's school buddies and work partners from Russia came to Canadian for the complete Texas experience. Kamil and Max, pictured with George above, grew up in Russia watching American movies about the wild west and were thrilled to come to Canadian to see it for real. Max's wife, Svetlana and son, Sergi, also came along and George and his dad took them all to the rodeo, a country-western music hoedown, to shoot clay pigeons, on a oil rig, to see cattle and horses, and we all ate plenty of Tex-mex and barbecue!!
It was a great, full weekend and we all had such a good time exploring all-things-Texas... and maybe when we weren't looking a bit of Russia rubbed off on us too. :)
