Tahoe Weekend

George had this Monday off for President's Day, so we spent a long snowy weekend in Tahoe with friends. My bump prevented me from skiing, but the non-stop snow fall made staying cozy by the fire with a few other non-skiers all that much better. George, of course, lived it up on the slopes for the both of us!

For Valentine's Day Saturday night all the boys cooked a fabulous dinner while us girls sat around chatting and munching on appetizers. This is how it should always be! Below is a picture of the master chefs: Mike D., Mike H., P.J., Tom, Peter, Mike K., George, and Coley.

Here's George working the grill (and a beer) with Mike and Coley.

And here's a shot of us girls... (back row) Ginny, Jordan, me, Caitlin, Pam and (front row) Moey with baby Abigail, Alisa, and Katherine.

We had such a fun weekend and cherish the time spend with these close friends. Weekends like this are made all that much more special when I think about having to say goodbye to everyone when George graduates in June. We have built a life here and have been blessed with a loving community of friends and it is going to be so, so hard to leave. But that is for another day...
