Oh my goodness... how is it September already!?! How am I always so behind on life!?! Anyway, a few weeks ago we took a trip to Missouri to visit my family. Ainsley dominated my parents house which is full of antiques and fragile things. Thankfully there were lots of uncles, grandparents, great-aunts and uncles, and great-grandparents to keep extra eyes on her. The theme of our visit had to be Ainsley continually following around Lyle, my mom's cat, in a desperate attempt to pet him. Lyle would let her get close and then she would get excited and flap her hands and shriek which would sent Lyle running.
But put an ice pop in her hands and she forgets all about him, even when he was brushing up against her leg... or at least almost forgot about him!
We had such a great visit - thanks for letting us come. We love you!
