Spring Show

At the end of April, the kids performed in the school's Spring Show.  Bailey's class did a 20s theme song and dance.  Here are a few pictures of him getting ready.  He looked so cute in his costume but couldn't stop fiddling with his mustache.  I think it was tickling his nose and mouth.

Here he is with his buddy Mia... neither of them look too thrilled in this picture but she was the one that asked me to take it.  And he automatically put his arm around her like this which is so funny to me.

I was filming during the show but here are some pictures of them all lined up at the beginning of the performance.  His class danced and sang to the song "Ball and the Jack."  I'll admit that although he was so adorable up there, he did look a little clueless and lost for most of the dance.  And he couldn't stop messing with his mustache!  It will be fun to see him progress as he gets older.

The kindergartners were divided up and got to tell several different fairy tales including the Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and Ainsley got to be in the retelling of Cinderella.  She was one of the birds that helped make Cinderella a dress for the ball.  Her line was, "Cinderelly never go to the ball," and she danced with the other birds to the songs about helping Cinderella from the Disney movie.  She knew everyone else's lines along with hers and she said her favorite part of the show was getting to wear sparkly costumes and getting to skip around with a twirly wand!

Since I was in Bailey's classroom before the show helping them get ready, I rushed to Ainsley's class after the show to get some close up pictures of her in her birdie costume.  She was so excited to get to be the blue bird, which was her favorite color of the moment.

This was Ainsley's last spring show at Casner which made me a little sentimental.  But it also made me super thankful that she has had these types of experiences.
