The past month has been a busy last month for Ainsley at school! Here is a recap of all her recent school happenings. In her school's spring show, Ainsley's class was dolls and soldiers. I didn't get any pictures of the actual performance because we took video instead but here she is above before the dress rehearsal. They work hard on these shows at school and she was so, so excited about it and so proud of herself. The girls sang "Skip to my Lou" and got to skip around the boys and then she danced with her good buddy Jackson to "I want to be like you" from Jungle Book. She was precious and I'm grateful that her school gives her fun creative outlets like this. Funny sidenote - the school loans us these costumes and something about the blue dress Ainsley is wearing above caused her to break out in a rash/hives. She was an itchy mess and looked terrible. But the show must go on - once we got it cleared by the dr that it wasn't contagious! For the actual performance, she wore one of our short sleeve blue dresses.
Another special happening at school was that in May, Ainsley was her class' Lollypop Dragon. At sing song each month, the teacher recognizes a student that worked really hard and they get to go up in front of the school with their artwork to be congratulated. Ainsley looked like such a big girl up on stage with her work.
Waving to her friends from the stage.
Here she is afterwards with her special dragon and lollypop.
Then here is my big girl on her last day of 4 year old Pre-Kindergarten. She has grown so much this year and I'm proud of her. She loves school and next year she will go to Kingergarten at the same place. How is my baby this big?
Her and her teacher Mrs Moore at their end of the year party. Ainsley has adored her and Mrs Moore has made this year so special for Ainsley and our whole family. I'm so thankful for loving people who care for our children in our absence.
